About our setting.....
Our private Home from Home Nursery offers a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child is valued as an individual. Designed to feel just like a family home, our nursery provides a safe and comforting space where children can settle quickly, build strong relationships, and feel a true sense of belonging.
We support children from babyhood through to pre-school, with carefully planned rooms that meet each stage of development. Play-based learning is at the heart of everything we do, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence while supporting all areas of development. Our experienced and caring practitioners follow each child’s interests, helping them to learn and grow at their own pace.
Strong partnerships with parents and carers are central to our approach. We believe open communication and shared learning experiences help create consistency between home and nursery. Through familiar routines, high-quality resources, and a calm, homely atmosphere, we support children’s emotional wellbeing, independence, and readiness for their next steps, ensuring every child thrives in our Home from Home Nursery.
Babies
Our Home from Home Nursery Baby Room is a calm, nurturing space designed to feel just like a cosy family home. Soft, neutral tones and natural light create a soothing atmosphere where babies feel safe, settled, and secure. Comfortable areas for rest sit alongside inviting spaces for gentle play, sensory exploration, and early discovery. Thoughtfully chosen resources support each child’s individual development, while familiar routines and caring practitioners help build strong attachments. Every detail in the Baby Room is carefully considered to provide a warm, homely environment where our youngest children can grow, explore, and thrive at their own pace.
Toddlers
Our Home from Home Nursery Toddler Room is a warm, welcoming environment designed to encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence. The room is thoughtfully arranged with cosy areas for quiet moments alongside open spaces for active play, movement, and exploration. Natural materials, soft furnishings, and child-led resources create a homely feel while supporting toddlers as they develop key skills such as communication, social interaction, and physical coordination. Daily routines are familiar and reassuring, helping children feel secure as they learn through play, make choices, and begin to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing setting.
Preschool
Our Home from Home Nursery Pre-School Room is a vibrant, inspiring space that supports children as they grow in confidence and independence, preparing them for their next steps into school. The room is carefully set up to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and imaginative play, with clearly defined areas for learning, creativity, and active exploration. A balance of child-led and adult-guided activities helps develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills, all within a warm, homely environment. Consistent routines, supportive practitioners, and rich learning experiences ensure every child feels valued, capable, and excited to learn.
School Club
A safe, welcoming space for children before and after school. We offer fun activities, creative play, homework support, and friendship-building in a caring, home-from-home environment. Flexible drop-off and pick-up make life easier for parents, while children enjoy learning, playing, and growing every day.
Our Philosophy

Our caring practitioners build strong, trusting relationships with children and work closely in partnership with parents to ensure continuity between home and nursery. We promote kindness, confidence, and independence within a calm, homely setting that supports all areas of the EYFS.
